The Peters Port Memorial Service

by Mitchell Museum

10 years ago Mitchell Museum released their first full length album 'The Peters Port Memorial Service'

The band had just played a headline show at the new bands stage at T in the Park and were hand delivering our first shipment vinyl to HMV and Fopp to sell. 10 years later nothing has changed! Except there are no festivals or shops anymore.

But yet again, they have a new album out - 'Skinny Tricks'! We really like it! And we have dug out of storage the few copies of the first album they have left.

So for a limited time to celebrate the 10 year anniversary we are offering a package deal of both albums for £10 each! On vinyl!

PLUS!!! If you buy TPPMS - as part of bundle or standalone - then you'll get the original demos of the album as an exclusive download too so you can hear the songs in all their originally "rough a round the edges" untuned guitar glory.

What a July bargain! Compare and contrast! The Past vs the Future, who will win? Only you can decide!!

The Peters Port Memorial Service Reviews

"A lively, auspicious twisted-pop debut." - The List

"It's an album of Gloriously eccentric psych-pop. Summer's soundtrack has arrived right on time." - Uncut Magazine

"A dense, but wonderfully tuneful, dream-pop racket." - The Guardian

"As an album it stands head and shoulders above its peers, one that belies its debut status and, crucially, sounds as if Mitchell Museum have only just started to flex their creative muscle." - The Skinny

    Skinny Tricks Reviews

"From a band not afraid to break from the Scottish indie norm, and be eccentric, weird and wonderful, ‘Skinny Tricks’ could well be one of the albums of the year" - Is This Music?

"Music which feels thoughtful and well-composed, and which is eloquently shot through with towering emotional peaks." - The List

"Complex psych-pop melodies which, for all the band's experimentation, retain a tunefulness and clarity at their core" - Scots Magazine

"The band’s most innovative and exciting tracks to date, and is truly something to look forward to in these difficult times." - The Music Files
